Saturday, May 17: Professor Alvyn Haywood continues his signature documentary screenings and community discussions with Brother Minister - the Assassination of Malcolm X at Classics Used and Rare Books on Saturday, May 17 from 12 noon until 2pm. free admission, donations accepted.

Saturday, June 7: On Saturday, June 7, 2008 at 12 noon, Professor Alvyn Haywood will facilitate a screening and community discussion for Sundance TV Channel's, Big Idea for a Small Planet, the Build Episode at Classics Used and Rare Books located at 117 South Warren Street in downtown Trenton.

In this episode, a visionary architect works with clients to build their first "green" home; a designer demonstrates his real-life tree house made of growing tree trunks; and environmentally conscious ideas are introduced to low-income neighborhoods.

You can reach tens of thousands of prospective customers, clients, and consituents through BOOST's public outreach campaign!

We are inviting someone from your organization to speak at a one our Green, Smart, and Sustainable Stakeholder Education and Training seminars launch on Saturday, June 7, preferably who can give a brief overview of of your mission, programs, and membership opportunities. We do not have a budget for this paricular activitie, but will invite you to also be a presenter for one of our seminars that start in September and run through June of 2009. This event is free to the public and will coincide with Classics Book Fair and Trenton's 30th annual Heritage Days Celebration which draws upwards of 25,000 people each year to New Jersey's capital's district.

Building Open Opportunity Structures Together (BOOST) and Partners will launch their Green, Smart, and Sustainable Stakeholder Education and Training (GSS-SET 2008-09) series of public awareness forums and community capacity building workshops on Saturday, June 7, at Classics Used and Rare Books located at 117 South Warren Street in downtown Trenton (NJ) at 12 noon with a screening of the Sundance Channels "Big Ideas for a Small Planet, the Build" episode and a special guest presentation by one of the films featured designers, Mitchell Joachim of Terreform Studios, a nonprofit philanthropic architectural design collaborative that integrates ecological principles in the urban environment.


This event is free to the public and will coincide with Classics Book Fair and Trenton's 30th annual Heritage Days Celebration which draws upwards of 25,000 people each year to New Jersey's capital's district and FREE signed copies of "From Green to Gold: How Smart Companies Use Environmental Strategy to Innovate, Create Value, and Build Competitive Advantage" will be available at the launch for BOOST's Green, Smart, and Sustainable Stakeholder Education and Training (GSS-SET 2008-09) for the first 30 individuals to register for the ten-month series of community capacity building seminars.
