Dr. Dr. It's Zhana - Here's Chicken Soup

It was a full day that started off with prayer. I did the Lazzeo Live Show with Dr. Christian. I had to go to take care of two computer repair clients.

Both jobs took longer than I anticipated, I wound up catch a taxi to make sure I go home in time for The Interview With Zhana about her book Black Success Stories
.

It was well worth the $10 bucks. We had a live call-in from Hawaii. The caller asked some really good questions like Did the black in Britian feel any attachment/identification with African Americans? And if Black's in American had a distorted perspective because of their position in being in America.

Recently I have been having more contact with Hawaiians. A major proponent of EFT had called me one day. Which was way cool because she found my name while she was doing a search on Willie Jolley Needless to say, "Color Me IMPRESSED" LOLOLOL.

To Come up right after one of the nations TOP MOTIVATIONAL speakers is "Beyond AWESOME". I know I'm using a lot of caps but big deal. I'm happy like that. And it's okay to celebrate success. That was one of the things Zhana and I was talking about. It is also to recognize the success we already are.

It was really really good to make the English connection. It's the door way to the Land of Ghandi. Who was Dr. King's leading role models.

Well after I finished with Zhana, I decided to do a little reading. So I continued reading from Chicken Soup

Training Continues....

Okay, Maybe it's only me and Vic. But when I was 17 I knew everything. Yes there was nothing I didn't know about. It didn't matter what the subject was. It didn't matter whether I was there or not.

As I've grown. I learned 6 years ago, when the World Trade Center(The Massive Explosion that Changed My World) went down I didn't know it all. It was one of the first time when I realized I didn't have the answers. Still to this day I don't know who was ultimately responsible for that horrendous event.

I also learned that I didn't have to smoke. I had just stopped smoking cigarettes a few days prior.(How to Quit Smoking) When the smoked cleared, in spite of the fear, in spite of the anxiety, in spite of the elation (two black sisters, Venus and Serena The Sista Sisters of Tenniswhere competing for the NY Open which was amazing) I didn't need to smoke a cigarette.

The point is was that it took a massive explosion to make a dent in my closed mind. And that dent was critical for me to change a life headed for failure to one en route to success. It is important for me to realize that the world is constantly changing and that I need to constantly increase my knowledge. This one of the things that I liked about the Online Business Alliance. I gave me an opportunity to join a community that could help guide me through all the material out there on the internet and save myself massive time and money.

My Family History

That's my momma. Not the television program. My real mother. Her name is Agatha Coggins. She is a Director in PrePaid Legal. Because I've been doing a lot of training for people via my television shows I have been listening to a lot of the Top Sales Reps of the Prepaid Legal Organization It got me to thinking about my family tree.

The following is the History of Her Side of the Family: Minnie Matthew Reefe:

Approximately two hundred years ago, two brothers bought slaves in the State of Virginia. The brothers, Richard (Robert) Huff and Dick Huff, of Oglethorpe County (Goose Pond District), did not believe in slavery. They purchase "the help" to work the plantation. In exchange for working, "the help" acquired land, a portion of the croups raised, and even learned to read and write: None of the Huff Family was ever slaved [ps. this must mean after they were purchased by the Huff Brothers and set free], and the family owned the largest portion of Goose Pond District.

One brother, Richard Huff, bought Kitty Huff who became the housekeeper. She bore six children by the names of Lumpin, Wooden, Sire, Jim, William and Enus. Upon Richard Huff's death, Kitty inherited eight hundred acres of land which she split with her children.

The other brother, Dick Huff, bought a set of sisters by the names: Margaret, Julia and Nina Huff. Nina never marred or had children. Julia become Julia Huff Hubbard, and she had two sons, Frank and Henry Hubbard. The last sister, Margaret, married kitty's son, William Huff. They raised eight children, namely: Robert, Mandy, Julia, Minnie, Ford, Dease, William and Jim.

Robert was the oldest sibling born March 15, 1859. He joined Rocky Branch Baptist Church at an early age. He acted as a deacon until his death on December 13, 1952. Robert was father to Robert, Jr., Murden, Louise, Bessie, Claude, and Willie B. Bradford (stepson). Of these children only Bessie (usually know as Aunt Clay) is still alive. Because of here, and the blessing of her memory, we, the Huff Family have a history. Help fund the expansion of this history project by joining here.

More of the tree to come.

Preeminence of Relationship

Women!!! How important to humanity. Women!!! The carriers of the fertilized seeds. Dr. Joy DeGruy Leary Ph.D has written a wonderful report on the effects of not dealing with issue of race has had on the American Society. The book is Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome is awesome.

One of the points that struck me and continues to ring true is the following: "My audience tells me blacks are impacted economically through discriminatory hiring practices. Having little or no access to capital, blacks are seen as lacking business acumen. They are impacted by limited access to health care. They are impacted by over-representation in the criminal justice system and under-representation in the university system. They are impacted by redlining and other discriminatory practices barring them from finding housing in the areas of their choice. The list goes on." pg 22-23.

It is funny, (I'm being sarcastic)when law makers in NJ would make statements like "I never owned in slaves". As if just because their lack of participation served as absolution of the crime. It's not just about Slavery. It's about the systematic oppression that is still taking place today.

One of the things which I found so hopeful in Obama was that a generation which didn't directly experience the trials of Dr. King and Malcolm X is coming of age. It is important that we point out the shortcomings of the preceding generation so that the assets can be built upon.

Dr. Martin Luther Kings legacy is a living one that is fanned with every non-black vote that Barak Obama gets. I look at my own experience streaming on the Internet and the hateful comments I get. But, I'm glad I focus on those who look beyond race, creed and economic background. I'm glad the Internet does offer Net-neutrality. I'm encouraged to be a leader a community that is spanning the global welcoming all who choose to make a brighter future for themselves. And I issue you an invitation to join us

Cast Down Your BUCKET

Booker T Washington 1856-1915. Born a slave, he rose to National and International Renown. Booker T was the first teacher and principal of the Tuskegee Institute in Tuskegee, Alabama, a school for African-Americans where he championed vocational training as a means for black self-reliance.

"A ship lost at sea for many days suddenly sighted a friendly vessel. From the mast of the unfortunate vessel was seen a signal, "Water, water; we die of thirst!" The answer from the friendly vessel at once came back, "Cast down your bucket where you are." A second time the signal, "Water, water; send us water!" ran up from the distressed vessel, and was answered, "Cast down your bucket where you are." And a third and fourth signal for water was answered, "Cast down your bucket where you are." The captain of the distressed vessel, at last heeding the injunction, cast down his bucket, and it came up full of fresh, sparkling water from the mouth of the Amazon River." I learn about this quote when I was in college. It is amazing how it is still as powerful to day as it was then. This quote is from the 1895 Address To Altanta Exposition. It was titled "A Better Approach To Healthy Race Relations" To read the full text it is available here.

With Black History Month right on our heels, it is important to count the blessing that this new year has brought. Financial I urge everyone to Cast Down Your Bucket by Joining Our Community. Contrary to what many political pundits may say about the Democratic Primary OBAMA has already WON. America has also WON.

America has won because racial attitudes are changing. I worked as a volunteer with the Obama campaign and it is mostly staffed by white people. I was on the train one day ago. I was on my way to a clients house to complete the job I was doing on their computer.

I was feeling a little tired and started snoozing. When I woke up I saw this Middle Aged White Man Looking at me smiling. I looked at his lapel and there was an Obama Button. He said, "Let's Cross our Fingers and Pray". He then handed me an Obama Button and exited the train.

Now why did he single me out? I was wearing my Obama hat. Obama is more than just a black candidate. But in some ways he's like Booker T in that is the first Black that many White Americans Respect enough to even consider to be a spokesperson for the country.

Dr. King birthday will be celebrated in two days. While I still get the racist "N**G*R" comments online, I am more hopeful for our country and the world than I have been in a long time. I realize today that we still have a great deal of healing to be done. I also realize that many of us have to let go and get out the way.

I guess it's knowledge of the Black Man's Experiences in recent history that drives me so hard to pursue financial freedom.

Mike Achieved #2 Google Ranking in Less Than 7 hours

This was incredible. I could hardly believe it myself. I knew our community was awesome but this was ridculous.

Mike went out. Without a website and using a long, ugly affiliate url, he managed to get the number 2 ranking on the keywords Face Yoga. Now the term may seem odd to many, but face yoga was a recent topic on Oprah Winfrey. And we all know about the Oprah Effect. Whatever she talks about people want to know more about.

This was really great because I recently to the next step in the 1 Minute 30 Day Success System and moved into a bigger vehicle in our community. I talk more about in the following video. But if you can't wait for updates you can join here
